If you have read my previous posts you probably think that I’m still in Norway right now. Initially I was planning on staying there for two months, but due to some reasons I decided to come back sooner than that and right now I’m already back in Latvia at home.
On the 28th of July, exactly a month after we left for Norway, I started my way back home. My cousin’s family were planning to drive to Latvia so I decided to join them. Since they have small children we had many stops and small breaks during our drive, but we actually were ahead of schedule and arrived in Helsinki at 11:30 am, which was a couple of hours sooner than planned. We still had seven hours until our ferry.
The first place we went to in Helsinki was RUSH Trampoline Park. We went there because some of my cousin’s children are quite into gymnastics. At first I wasn’t really planning on actually going in there, but I agreed to go in and babysit my cousin’s 4-year-old daughter. Have you ever tried running after a 4-year-old? They’re faster than you might think. She was running all over the place and I barely could keep up with her. After an hour in there I was all sweaty, but felt pretty amazing.
After that we still had some time so we decided to go to SEA LIFE Helsinki Aquarium. When we got there, all the parking lots were packed, but after driving around for couple of minutes, luckily we found a parking space nearby. Since I had never seen so many exotic fishes and other sea creatures, I really enjoyed going there and seeing everything that they had. It was a great experience!
Outside of the Sea Life exhibition there was an amusement park with an insane-looking ride, but it was already time for us to go. We then drove to the port and got on our ferry. 3,5 hours later we were in Tallinn. We got back in the car and drove all the way to Latvia.
Right now I’m back at home and enjoying the countryside life. I’m picking berries, cleaning the house and just recently I started my first bullet journal and I’m absolutely loving it!
